Genuinely Jane Studios and Artistcellar Team up Hop!!!

Hello all my crafty friends, I hope you find yourselves well!!  Well, things have been really crazy busy over here, with all the new wonderful adventures I am having with GJS!!!  That brings me to this weeks post.  We  here at Genuinely Jane Studios have had the pleasure of teaming up with Artistcellar, creator of some of the most wonderful stencils around.  Everyday this week we will feature a different project made by one of each of the DT members from each company, so this means that there will be one project showcased on the Artistcellar blog and one on the blog of each GJS DT member.  Don't worry you won't have to search for which DT member it is, you will be directed to them from Artistcellar   so be sure to check back everyday to see what the new project is for that day!!!

So what is this hop all about, simple, use a GJS book and Artistcellar's stencil in/on your project.  So this is what I came up with!!

I decided to do a 12x12 canvas.  I used the cover page of the Dress Form book (item G007) as the main focal point.  I gussied it up a bit and added it to the front of my canvas that I had decorated with paper's, paint, India ink. Artistcellar's Seven Jewels 6x6 stencil, modeling paste and Pan Pastels.  I added a quote that I pulled off the internet and coated them with Collage Pauge to make sure that they will not come off!!

Genuinely Jane Studios and 100 Proof Press "Welcome Spring" Blog Hop11

So for my project today I started with the Scallop book and I have painted, stained, fabric'd (is that even a word??) and papered my book and added all things that make me think of Spring, Warmth and Love!!  I hope you enjoy it!!!

GJS Guest Design Team Call

Genuinely Jane Studios is looking for talented designers for  our Guest Design Team (May 2013-August 2013).             Genuinely Jane Studios produces dozens of different styles of natural birch wood albums and mini-albums for scrapbookers, mixed media artists and altered artists.  We also offer complimentary products including paints, inks, adhesives, stencils, glitters and much, much more for the mixed media artist.      We are looking for talented designers to help promote our brand  of fun, new products from May 2013-August 2013. The successful applicant will need to work well with deadlines and consistently produce projects of high standard.  As part of GJS Guest Design Team you will:    Receive a goody box with GJS products and related mixed media products.    Be featured on the GJS blog, project gallery,  Facebook,  Twitter, and Pinterest. Genuinely Jane Studios Go Live!!!

I want to welcome you all to visit Genuinely Jane Studios!  

I am sooooooo excited to introduce you to this company!

GJS is something that has been in the works for some time now and is
very close to my best friends heart.  So naturally I was honored and thrilled when she asked me to be a part of this wonderful new adventure!!  I am officially the VP of Sales.  I will be GJS's east coast presence and will represent GJS at industry shows and events in this region.  In addition, I act as the rep for east coast wholesale accounts.

GJS is owned by, Sue Wojtkowski and her honey, Mark, a military vet.  They craft the  highest quality wood albums for scrapbooking, mixed media and altered arts.  They will be adding new products and  product lines in the coming months so stay tuned for some EXCITING new offerings  in the craft world.  This is just a sample of the product.  Be sure to go to the site and click on the Retail shop button on the left to check out all the wonderful book choices!!!

Exciting time-Preparing for GJS (Genuinely Jane Studios) site launch!!

Hello my crafty friends, I have some really exciting new's to tell you!!!  I know it's been quite a while since I have posted anything here on my blog but it has been a very busy time for me!!  I am honored to tell you that I have been asked by my best friend and very talented artist, Susan Wojtkowski, owner and creator of GJS (Genuinely Jane Studios) to partner with her on her new business venture!!  

She asked me to be VP of Sales. I will be the east coast presence and will represent GJS at industry shows and events in this region. In addition, I act as the rep for east coast wholesale accounts. I am over the moon about it!! Genuinely Jane Studios (GJS) manufactures small and medium sized mini-albums for scrapbooking, mixed media and altered arts in a variety of shapes and sizes. 100% American-made, our facility is located in rural, north-central Missouri and uses only the highest quality materials.

I am sooooo very excited to be working with her and her wonderful books!! I know this will be a big hit in the Scrapbooking/Mixed Media world!!

I can't give you the website as of yet but i will as soon as we go live next weekend!!
